Youth Safety Training

The Foxtailers training will be held on the following dates:

October 20 and October 31, 2014

We are offering a  one-day youth snowmobile safety training course on Tuesday, October 20th from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, October 31th starting at 9:00 A.M. The course will be held at the St. Michael- Albertville High School located at 5800 Jamison Avenue NE, St. Michael 55376

Students must attend both classes and be there for the duration of both classes.

CD's will be handed out the first night of training with class ending upon completion of outdoor driving course (approximately 1:30 P.M.) Lunch will be provided. Students need to dress for cold weather with proper snowmobile gear ie, helmets, gloves, and boots on October 31th Students can register if they will be 12 years of age or older by Jan 1, 2016. Students 16 years of age or older will be encouraged to order and complete an adult CD from the Minnesota DNR website. On Tuesday, October 20th a parent/guardian must accompany youth to sign a release form and bring proof of age (birth certificate) of student. Pre registration is required, as class size is limited to 75 students and there will be a $5.00 pre-registration fee. Each student will also pay an on-line DNR fee of $5.00 upon completion of the course to receive certificate.
